1 Undress and stand in front of a full length mirror. Examine your naked body carefully, from
head to toe. Imagine you are seeing yourself for the first time. Look at yourself from every
angle.
2 Stand, kneel, bend and then move around. Sit with your legs apart and then together. Look over
your shoulder to see the curve of your back and the set of your buttocks.
3 Focus attention on your best points; everybody has some. They might be the breadth of your
chest, the flatness of your stomach, the fullness of your hair, or your height.
4 Then pay attention to the features that you dislike and try to see them in a more positive way.
For instance, while you may think yourself shorter than you would like, you may be trim and
5 Now study your genitals. Feel your testes; one, usually the left, will hang slightly below the
other. Your flaccid penis will probably be between 5 and 10 centimetres (2 and 4 inches) long
and, when you touch it, you will find the most sensitive area is the head and, in particular, the
ridge on the underside.
6 Finish by taking a warm bath. Soap your hands and explore your body with them, noticing all
the different sensations you experience by changes in touch and pressure. Explore your penis
and testicles again, too, if you like, but try to become aware of sensations throughout your
whole body.
